This is an honest AIClips review of ourselves — why we built this platform, what problem we were actually trying to solve, and what we got wrong along the way. Most “about us” pages are marketing. This one is not going to be that.
The short version of the aiclips story and the reason for this aiclips review: we were Indian creators who needed 8 different AI tool subscriptions to make professional content, paying ₹12,000–15,000 a month in USD tools that had never heard of Hindi, did not know what a saree looked like, and charged a foreign card fee on top. We decided to build the thing we needed. That became AIClips.

The Problem Behind the AIClips AI Platform — What We Were Actually Facing
In [ANKY TO FILL — year], I was building content for [ANKY TO FILL — context]. Every time I needed to produce something professionally, I was opening six different browser tabs. ChatGPT for the script. ElevenLabs for voiceover. Runway for video. Midjourney for images. A separate music tool. A separate captions tool. Each one billing in USD, each one adding 18% GST on top, each one requiring a forex credit card that most Indian creators do not have.
The monthly bill for a serious Indian creator doing this properly was ₹12,000–15,000 per month — for tools that were designed for American creators, trained on American data, and had no idea what to do with a Hindi script or a traditional Indian setting.
Run “woman in a silk saree by a Mumbai street” through any Western AI tool in [ANKY TO FILL — year] and you got something that looked like a costume photo from a Western studio. Run a Hindi script through ElevenLabs and you got robotic pronunciation with the schwa in the wrong place. Every tool was technically functional and culturally wrong.
That specific frustration — paying international prices for tools that did not understand India — is what became the founding question of AIClips: what if every Indian creator had one place that gave them everything, understood India, and cost what Indian creators could actually pay?
The Bet Behind the AIClips AI Platform — One Platform, Every Model
The aiclips ai platform bet was not technically clever. It was straightforward: build the aggregation layer that Indian creators were managing manually with eight browser tabs, put it on one dashboard, price it in rupees, and build it to understand India.
The hard part was not the technology — API integrations are well-understood engineering. The hard part was the curation. Adding 600+ models is easy. Knowing which 600 models to add, testing each one for Indian cultural content accuracy, understanding which models fail on Hindi prompts and why, building credit pricing that reflects real API costs rather than arbitrary markup — that took considerably longer than the integrations did.
Our sole developer, Prasad, built most of what you see on AIClips today. [ANKY TO FILL — add a sentence about Prasad/team that feels personal and real]. The first version was launched in [ANKY TO FILL — launch date and context]. It had [ANKY TO FILL — number] models and looked nothing like what AIClips looks like now.
The Why We Built AIClips Journey — 2 Years to 600+ Models
The first version. [ANKY TO FILL — what the first AIClips looked like, what it had, what the first paying users said about it]
First 100 models. [ANKY TO FILL — what changed when AIClips crossed 100 models, what the team learned, what surprised you]
The Indian language breakthrough. [ANKY TO FILL — when and how Hindi voiceover and regional language support became genuinely good on the platform]
600+ models, 23,696+ stock items, ₹349/month. The number grew. The price did not. We have added Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2, Lyria 2, and everything in between since launch. The 50% OFF annual promotion running right now is our way of saying: if you’ve been thinking about starting, now is the time.
Why 600+ Models Is Not Just a Number — the AIClips Review of Our Own Curation
Every number on the platform page — 600+ models, 23,696+ stock items — started as a real decision. Every model had to pass our internal testing before it went live. We tested specifically for Indian cultural content: does it understand what a Varanasi ghat looks like? Does it handle Hindi voiceover correctly? Does it produce skin tones that look like actual Indian people rather than approximations?
Roughly 40 models have been removed since launch. We do not talk about this often but it matters: the 600+ models on AIClips are the ones that passed. The ones that did not — models with consistently wrong Indian cultural output, models with training data provenance problems, models that benchmarked well globally but failed on Indian prompts — were removed. That curation is part of the product.
The full analysis of what we learned testing all of them is in the 461 Models Tested article. That piece covers the patterns we noticed across video, image, and audio models that no individual model review would surface.

What We Got Wrong — the AIClips Story Without the Polish
This section exists because every “about us” page that skips it is lying by omission.
[ANKY TO FILL — 2–3 honest things that went wrong during building AIClips. Could be: a model partnership that did not work out, a pricing decision you had to reverse, a feature that users hated, a launch that underperformed. Real specifics. This is the section that builds the most trust — and it requires Anky’s input to be authentic.]
The version of this story without the mistakes would be shorter and less useful to read. The whole point of writing it honestly is so that other Indian founders building AI products in 2026 can learn from the parts that did not work, not just the parts that did.
What’s Coming Next
The about aiclips story in 2026 is not finished. This aiclips review of our own progress includes what is coming next. Here is what we are building toward:
- Gekko AI — our WordPress auto-blog plugin, currently in development. It will use the AIClips model stack to generate fully optimised blog posts with AI images automatically, targeting Indian content businesses who produce high volumes of written content.
- Deeper regional language support. Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali content creation workflows need the same depth of support that Hindi has now. We are getting there.
- More standalone apps. Captions Studio, when live, will be the eighth standalone app on the platform. The goal is to eliminate the CapCut step for Indian creators — everything from script to posted Reel without leaving AIClips.
- Better model curation for Indian content. The cultural accuracy gap between Western-trained models and Indian-trained models is the single most impactful quality improvement we can deliver. Every new model we add gets specifically tested on Indian cultural prompts before going live.
If you want to follow the building of this in real time, the 461 Models analysis and the Indian AI Industry article cover what we are watching in the broader Indian AI ecosystem.
